Day 01- Arrive Delhi
You arrive in Delhi by international flight. After a
traditional Welcome of TIKKA and Arti our representatives would
assist you at the airport to hotel for check in and overnight
stay.
Day 02- Delhi
Breakfast at the Hotel. Rest of the morning at leisure. You will
be taken on a guided tour of Delhi, beginning with a morning sightseeing
trip to Old Delhi and followed by visits to the 1648 Red Fort, India's
largest mosque - Jama Masjid with its 9,000 sq. ft. courtyard, three
domes and two minarets, and Gandhi Memorial at Raj Ghat.then proceed
to India Gate, President's House, Humayun's Tomb, Bahai Temple with
its nine pools on an elevated platform, and Qutb Minar. Overnight
stay at hotel.
Day 03- Delhi / Agra (220 km / 5 hrs)
Post breakfast departure for Agra, erstwhile capital of
India under Mughals in the 16th 17th centuries and home to Taj Mahal.
Most of Agra is on the west bank of river Yamuna, with the Agra
Fort and the Taj at its nucleus. Taj Mahal Taj Mahal, the mausoleum
built by a sorrowing Shah Jehan in memory of his young wife, Mumtaz
Mahal. The Building's stupendous scale, flawless symmetry, translucent
white marble and shimmering reflection in the water channel are
truly breathtaking.is quite simply one of mankind's most remarkable
creations. Upon arrival at Agra, to check in at hotel. Later in
the afternoon, a visit to Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Overnight stay
at hotel.
Day 04- Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Bharatpur
- Jaipur
After breakfast check-out from the hotel and we take you
to on a visit to Fatehpur Sikri - Built by Akbar
the Great in the 16th century to serve as the capital of his vast
empire, Fatehpur Sikri was mysteriously abandoned 13 years later.
The mosque at Fatehpur Sikri is considered a copy of the mosque
at Mecca and is extremely elegant, containing elements of Hindu
and Persian design. The main entrance to th e
complex Buland Darwaza or "Great Gateway" is reached by
an impressive flight of stairs. Inscribed on the inside of the archway
is the quote: "The World is a bridge. Pass over it, but build
no house upon it. He who hopes for an hour, may hope for eternity."
After continue drive to Jaipur. Enroute visiting Bharatpur
Bird Sanctuary - one of the finest bird sanctuaries in
the world. The marshes here are home to over 360 species
of birds including the Siberian cranes that come to spend
the winter here. On arrival check in into hotel. Overnight at
hotel.
Day 05- Jaipur
The capital of Rajasthan is the most colourful city in
India. Today morning we visit the Amber, the capital of the gallant
Rajputs from 1037 to 1728 AD. A slow elephant ride takes us to the
top of the fort and a tour of the Palace. Later visits to the City
Palace, Birla Temple, Jantar Mantar Observatory and the Palace of
Winds. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 06- Jaipur - Pushkar
After Breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive to Pushkar
- the city of Brahma. Pushkar is a sacred town for the
Hindus, situated 11 kms. to the North-West of Ajmer. The charm of
this sleepy, lakeside settlement so captivated the great Indian
poet, Kalidas, that it found a place in his classic, Abhigyan Sakuntalam.
The Great Hindu epics of Mahabharat and Ramayana make references
to this religious place regarded to be Adi Tiratha. Evidence points
to its having existed during the fourth century B.C. lake in the
inhospitable surroundings of a desert is no less than a miracle.
On arrival check in into hotel . Later on take part in the Pushkar
Fair activities and visit various temples and the sacred
lake. Dinner & overnight at hotel.
Day 07- Pushkar
The Pulsating beats of vivid images of the Sacred Brahma
land, Pushkar brings alive the rich tradition of Rajasthan enhancing
the glory of the golden sand. Spectacular Fair Ground in the month
of Kartik with bedecked Camels, decorated cattle’s, adventures
competitions, breathtaking events, jostling rustic crowd, meditating
sadhus, holy dip, vivid stalls, exotic fair, colourful desert, so
typical, so obvious, It can be nothing else but Pushkar Fair. An
amalgamation of a marvellous juxtaposition of commerce and devotion,
Pushkar Fair, a lifetime experiences in the very Holy Land.
The evenings are possessed with its own charm,
Deepdaan creates a spectacular view on the scared lake. The silent
night pierced by camel calls, folk- lore, dramas and heart throbbing
beats of folk music and dances. The fair attracts a great number
of tourists from far and wide. The fair grounds reverberate with
festivity, as rows of make shift stalls display a bewildering array
items. Body tattooing is yet another favourite activity. The profusion
of colours that run riot in the desert sand, the glee and the contagious
enthusiasm of the village folk are a unique experience for every
visitor. The village is arranged in blocks of tents, each with its
own identity, named after the famous dance of Rajasthan. The village
also has huts with attached western style toilets and running water.
Day free to witness Pushkar Fare. Stay overnight at Hotel.
Day 08- Pushkar - Udaipur
After breakfast, check-out and drive to Udaipur.
Arrive and check-in into hotel. Later on an excursion to Eklingji
& Nagda temples. Eklingji, It is famous
for the beautifully sculpted temple complex with 108 temples within
its high walls built in 734 A.D.The temples are dedicated to Lord
Shiva, the presiding deity of Mewar ruler. The walled complex encloses
an elaborately pillared hall or mandap under a large pyramidal roof
and has four-faced image of Lord Shiva in black marble. Nagda,
This ancient place in Mewar was the capital of Bappa Rawal and has
a magnificient torana exquisitely carvedwith graceful apsaras. This
ancient site dating back to the 6th century A.D. is renowned for
the Sas-Bahu temples (9th- 1Oth century A.D.) with interesting architecture
and carvings. In the evening, you have the option of taking a boat
ride on Lake Pichola. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09- Udaipur
After breakfast visit City Palace - the
largest palace complex in Rajasthan, with its scalloped arches,
fretted balconies, and cupolas. Jagdish Temple
is an Indo-Aryan temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It has a black
stone image of Vishnu as Jagannath, Lord of the Universe. Folk
Art Museum has an interesting exhibition of folk arts including
dresses, dolls, masks, musical instruments, paintings, and puppets.
The rest of the evening is free to explore this city of lakes on
your own. Or you may enjoy our optional boat ride on the picturesque
Lake Pichola, cruising past the spectacular City Palace, Jag Mandir
Island and the famous Jag Niwas Island, which used to be the summer
palace of the Royals of Mewar and is now the renowned Lake Palace
Hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10- Udaipur - Ranakpur - Kumbhalgarh
After breakfast, drive to Ranakpur. Visit
Ranakpur Jain Temples complex, one of the biggest
and the most impo rtant
cluster of Jain temples in India. Nestled in the Aravalli range.
The Chaumukha Temple, or Four Faced Temple, is the main temple in
the complex and dates back to the 15th century. Built in marble,
the temple has 29 halls supported by more than 1400 pillars, no
two of which are alike. The two other Jain temples in the complex
are Neminath and Parasnath temple. After that continue drive to
Kumbhalgarh. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11- Kumbhalgarh - Jodhpur
After breakfast, half day tour of Kumbhalgarh,
where you explore the one of the most majestic forts of India. 13
mountain peaks surround the impregnable fortress of Kumbalgarh (54
Kms) at a height of 3281 ft. Seven towering gateways pierce the
massive walls of this prominent fortress of Mewar . The young Udai
Singh founder of Udaipur took shelter here from his treacherous
uncles. Emperor Akbar was defeated by these impregnable walls dotted
with cannonballs.
Later on continue drive to Jodhpur. On arrival check-in into hotel.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 12- Jodhpur
Post breakfast half day tour of Jodhpur There are many
great fortresses throughout Rajasthan, but non compare with the
majestic Mehrangarh Fort, built atop a 400 ft. promontory. Within
this invisible citadel are magnificent palaces with marvelously
carved panels, latticed windows and evocative names. These palaces
houses a fabulous collection of possessions of Indian royalty, including
a superb collection of palanquins, elephant howdahs, miniature paintings
of various schools, musical instruments, costumes and furniture.
Below the fort, visit the Jaswant Thada, a graceful marble cenotaph
built 1899 for Mahrajaha Jaswant Singh II, and monuments to other
Maharajahs of Jodhpur.
Proceed into the heart of the bazaars for a view of local artisans
at work as well as locals shopping of their wares.
Overnight stay.
After breakfast full day city tour, visit Mehrangarh
fort - unsurpassed in beauty & grandeur, it is one
of the largest forts in India. Innumerable palaces in the fort,
interspersed with sprawl ing
courtyards, are intricately carved Jaswanthada - The 19th century
royal cenotaph and the museum located in the Umaid public gardens.
After that a visit to Ummed Bhawan Palace. A portion of the Ummed
Bhawan Palace has been converted into a museum. The architectural
splendors of these remnants will enthrall you. Overnight at hotel.
Day 13- Jodhpur - Jaisalmer
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to
Jaisalmer - The Citadel City. On the way we pass
camel carts, vibrant and colorful Rajasthani women carrying produce
to the market, and men sporting brightly colored turbans usually
sitting groups just passing the time of the day. On arrival check
in into hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 14- Jaisalmer
After breakfast half day sightseeing of Jaisalmer. Almost
900 years old, Jaisalmer was a major post on the trade route across
the forbidding Thar Desert, and still today, one’s first
glimpse of the honey colored walls of the fort, rising out of
the hot and barren desert is magical. Untouched by time, Jaisalmer,
with its golden crenellated walls and narrow streets lined with
exquisite havelies, has a medieval ambience. The fort encloses
palaces decorated with delicate jali or lattice worked screens,
carved doors and flora carvings, and elaborately carved 12th to
16th century Jain temples. The havelies in both the fort and the
town are exceptional. Similar in style to the homes of Venetian
merchants, the havelies were the mansions of wealthy traders.
The houses are decorated with beautifully carved facades, jali
screens and oriel windows, each with an inner courtyard surrounded
by richly decorated apartments. To see the beauty of the
Thar Desert take a camel ride to Sam Sand Dunes. Overnight at

Day 15- Jaisalmer - Khimsar
After breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive to Khimsar.
Khimsar is steeped in history. Founded 2500 years ago by the Jain
Saint Mahaveer this is the starting point of the great Indian
Desert. The founder of the castle which was built in mid 15th
century was Prince Karamsi on arrival check-in into Hotel .and
overnight staty at hotel
Day 16- Khimsar - Mandawa
After an early breakfast, check-out from the hotel and
drive to Mandawa. Arrive Mandawa and check-in into hotel In th e
afternoon a tour of the painted 'havelis' of
some of the leading business families of the country. Though they
no longer live here, the local caretakers are happy to show the
visitors around. Enroute you can shop for the colorful art and
crafts of Rajasthan: tied and dyed textiles, metal handicrafts,
carved wooden artefacts and more. You also get a unique insight
to life in the desert by visiting nearby villages on a camel
safari. Overnight at hotel.
Day 17- Mandawa - Delhi (Departure)
After breakfast morning free to explore the local village by horse
safari in the morning and visit local mansions to view famous
frescoes. Later on check-out from the hotel and drive to Delhi.
Arrive Delhi and a car will be at your disposal until transfer
to International Airport to catch flight for onward destination.
